Speedball 2
Described in contemporary advertising (Zanarian) as: "Speedball's Round Pointed Pens. No. 59. University. Fine point. Moderate action. Very popular."
The Blam Nib site explains that C. Howard Speedball's Pen Company began to manufacture pens in Camden, New Jersey in 1899. The factory moved to Statesville, NC in 1958. Since 1997 the Speedball Pens are manufactured by the Speedball Art Products Company. (Although Speedball still produces dip nibs, the 59 University nib is not currently produced.)
Versions
There is only one version of the Speedball 2 Linoleum Cutter nib in the Chappy's Nibs collection. The nib pictured below is Speedball 2 Linoleum Cutter.
