The Golden Montana nib appears to be of U.S. origin. I cannot find any information about it. However, I did find reference on the Pendemonium Dip Pens Nibs page to a Golden Montana nib, showing Golden Montana as the manufacturer. The Golden Montana Company operated in Lewistown for 60 years, from 1922 to 1982.
It is possible that this nib was a "vanity" pressing, produced by another manufacturer but stamped with the Golden Montana name. This seems likely, since the manufacturing equipment for mass-producing nibs required considerable investments and real estate--which does not appear to have been the case in Lewistown. Also, The Golden Montana Company operated a business supply component that would have enjoyed a benefit from such a vanity pressing. If that's the case, we at least know that it wasn't a "one-off": Pendemonium shows a Golden Montana 64 nib, and this collection shows a Golden Montana 9.
Versions
There are no additional versions of the Golden Montana #9 Pen in the Chappy's Nibs collection, as pictured below (gray-finish).
